Selected Applications of AD Techniques
Derivatives are a means to an end. That is, you are typically not interested in derivatives themselves but they will help you to achieve something else. This is the reason why applications play a prominent role in AD. The only purpose of this section is to compile a list of selected AD applications from various scientific disciplines, demonstrating that AD is a general (rather than a niche) technology.

If you are actively working in the field of AD and you wish to submit an application to this list, feel free to request an account. You will then be in the position to upload the relevant information. (The system will ask you for a publication in the open literature describing the application. More precisely, a specific BibTeX key is required which is easily generated by submitting a BibTeX entry to our Publications Database.)
